I have been staying at the Lake Trail Motel regularly for the past five years. The owners have become friends and I look forward to seeing them each time i stay there. The motel is not new, but they have been working hard at updating the rooms, and many of them have been modernized. The rooms are very clean, and the location is excellent for visits to Niagara and Hamilton.
We had the pleasant experience of staying at this Motel for over 6 weeks when we had a house fire. Our experience staying there was welcoming. It felt like a little community of caring people that would include the owner, staff and fellow other renters. We would suggest this Motel that is cost effective and cleaner in our experience then a Hotel. In our future if we or any family members need a Motel I would stay there again. We would like to add that it was a quiet and peaceful place to rest our head.
We stayed here for approximately 7 weeks due to a burst pipe which led to a major renovation on the main floor of our house. The owners were amazing and patient as we worked through an insurance claim and other issues at every step. This was supposed to be a 3 week stay that turned into 7 weeks. We decided to stay here based on reviews of this and another motel we had stayed in before. You can’t believe everything you read, and I am so happy we called Lake Trail Motel! The rooms were spacious and kept extremely clean, the other guests were friendly and respectful and with close highway access, our commute was a breeze. Thank you for giving us a sliver of piece of mind during what has been one of the most stressful times of my life.
Not too many motels that are clean quite accommodating and safe. The owner is runs a tight ship which add a sense of community and safety. Free wifi and parking too with great pricing in this market. It was a short walk to the lake/ beach and access to the away was meters away.
